A client with two pianists in a jazz combo wanted an arrangement of Spain that kept the two pianists' parts off of each other and had trumpet, alto sax, and tenor sax for horns.​​

This arrangement includes a nod to the electric piano opening section found in the original and mostly follows the feel of Corea's best known studio version of this piece.

The arrangement contains an open solo section that can be used as deemed necessary and kicks over time used as the primary drum notation style.
