FAQ's
-
Do you accept PO's from my school or district?Yes, we're happy to work off of a PO. You can set up a PO with us for a particular project or you can establish a budget for the year with EDU Music Services which we can bill against as needed. We will work to make sure any projects you request are completed within the budget that is agreed to.
-
How do you provide a quote for a particular project? For custom arrangements, we'll provide a quote for you based on the length of the piece, number of instruments, and difficulty required. Any required licensing will be handled separately. The more details you can provide about what you are looking for the better! We want to build custom arrangements around your needs and make sure we deliver an arrangement you can be proud to perform. We'll often ask questions along the way to make sure we're understanding the needs of a project and can provide a sample as we go if you'd like to make sure the direction of the piece fits your ensemble. Editing, preparation, audio and printing services will be quoted based on the exact needs of your project.
-
Can I request any revisions?Yes, of course. You can request up to two revisions for smaller editing issues that can be resolved relatively quickly. We want to make it perfect! We encourage you to review a sample of custom arrangements as we go before we go too far into an arrangement to avoid any confusion and appreciate as much direction as possible up front so we can match expectations and make sure we are all on the same page. We can not reinvent the arrangement once it gets to the revision stage.

Do you work with copyrighted titles?Yes we do. We will help you secure licensing for the project as part of the service and depending on the situation will either put the arrangement licensing in our name or yours. We work with educational publishers to secure licensing is in place for editing existing arrangements. For custom arrangements, we use ArrangeMe when possible to pay royalties on popular copyrighted titles to make sure that rights owners are paid out properly. Completed copyrighted arrangements must be purchased directly from ArrangeMe to make sure rights owners are paid and that you have proper purchase proof printed on all parts of the arrangement in case it is reviewed at a festival or competition. Please note that when using ArrangeMe, we are not able to offer you an exclusive, or geographically exclusive arrangement for competitive performances as the terms of ArrangeMe require the piece to be made available for public purchase. For exclusive-use custom arrangements, we will help you secure the proper licensing for the project with services like Tresona.
